Service and enterprise
I’m a Marine Corps veteran, entrepreneur, and small-business advocate. Across 25 years of military service and my work building businesses, I’ve learned to connect long-term strategy with the practical work of leading people and solving problems.
I founded Ravenox in 2012 while continuing my Marine Corps career. Manufacturing, e-commerce, and international trade have given me a direct view of the decisions small businesses face every day—and the value of adaptable, disciplined organizations.
A wider perspective
International study, language learning, and work across cultures have shaped how I approach unfamiliar situations. I look for the context behind a problem, listen to different perspectives, and bring that understanding into business and community leadership.
My advocacy with retail organizations and the Intuit Small Business Council connects those operating experiences to public-policy discussions about technology, opportunity, and the challenges facing entrepreneurs.
Community and continued learning
Service continues beyond a uniform or a business role. My work with veteran and community organizations has included support for the Marine Raider Foundation, Operation Freedom Paws, and emergency preparedness through CERV and CERT.
I continue to study AI, emerging technology, and organizational change. The same curiosity runs through my education, my work, and the Book Club: a place to explore ideas, compare perspectives, and keep learning.
