The USMC support group is passionate about providing educational and charitable assistance to support over 60,000 Marines, Navy Corpsman & their families in Washington state with a particular focus on the specific focus on those veterans with needs relating to 9/11.
The USMC Support Group also partners with college foundations to provide gap funding to Marine or Navy Corpsman, providing essential funding so allowing these corpsman to complete their education. The Education Assistance Program was created to help veterans earn the skills needed to be productive members of the community. There are ongoing plans to expand this program.
Other programs within the organization provide career advancement skills through developing job opportunities to further careers. Additionally, The Support Group helps young students evolve their craft around values and their service to the US to create a sense of personal responsibility and accomplishment.
